Our blog policy:
On behalf of the PBC World Missions Team (WMT), to all of you who have taken time to comment and encourage our mission teams via the PBC web site "Missions Blog". Thank you for your good words, thoughts and prayers!
The PBC Missions blog is intended to be a means for the short-term missions teams to provide updates back to the church, friends and families of the participants. Because it is based on blog software where readers may comment on blog posts, it has appeared to readers as if our Mission blog is a 2-way communication mechanism (as are many traditional "blog" sites).
However, as per the current policy of WMT, and to help accomplish the design of PBC Summer Missions Projects, it is preferred that the blog updates remain 1-way at this time, providing updates from the field.
We appreciate the thoughts and prayers expressed in your comments, and will retain them for sharing with the teams upon their return. Thanks again for your input. If you have any comments or questions on this topic, please contact the World Missons Team at PBC.
