Maine Team - Saturday July 22nd
God is so good! We arrived safely and on time at the Bangor Airport after we all shook through some turbulence during flight (except for the few who were bumped up to 1st class!) When we arrived at the car rental counter we found our first bump in the road - our van had been rented out and was returned in another city. But God showed up and we were able to get 2 vehicles for 1/2 the price of our original choice! Our drive up to Wytopitlock was full of beautiful sites, but no moose sightings yet.
The advance team who drove up with the trailer full of supplies and our luggage arrived this morning and then they went to shop for our food supplies and other needed items for the repairs we will be making. We all met at the church mid-afternoon and Ron Embry and David Ruckman got busy installing the instant hot water heater and the rest of the team unloaded the trailer, set up tents for VBS and food, and prepped for dinner.
After dinner with Pastor Waite and his family and a few others from the community, we shared God sightings and prepped for lunch with the community after church service tomorrow.
For those who have been to Maine in the past, you wouldn't believe the Wounded Warrior lodge where we will be staying! What a luxury! It's late and we are all tired, but we will include pictures tomorrow.
Thank you family and friends who have sent us with your love, support and prayers!
