Romania Day 6
Wednesday’s are supposed to be the roughest day of camp. Tiredness sets in and any seeds of rebellion that had been held back start to sprout.
A look around here today and you’d be tempted to think today was Friday. We went to a literal mountaintop, played, sang, did a skit, and shared the Gospel. Hearts were opened and freedom was found for many who’d been struggling with hidden sin. Our “God sightings” list we do each night keeps growing. Tonight we answered tough questions, offered forgiveness that we’d been holding back, and heard two incredible testimonies from team members about how God defines us and not our sin or failure. We ended the night (actually they’re still going strong as this is being typed!) with a huge bonfire, singing, and dancing.
It was a great day. The kind of day you wouldn’t mind pushing repeat on. Thank you, God!
-we have a couple of team members a little under the weather. Pray for rest and healing.
-we are continuing to present Gospel opportunities tomorrow. Pray for fruit and a harvest.
-we are beginning to lament leaving our new friends. Pray that we can stay focused on the two days we have left with them.
