Zambia day 5

Blog by Ben Today was the most challenging and testing day so far. The sun beat down constantly for the whole day, something we weren’t used to. Also it was our most complete day of work so far. Both coming together to leave a good chunk of us thoroughly exhausted. Also I feel like we all could be drinking more water. We feel the effects of dehydration daily. But today was also the day where we were able to more effectively talk to the Zambians, from the little kids playing on you to the teenagers helping build the playground. The shared love for brothers and sisters in Christ Among us was evident. We were tired and it was my job to give the devotion, but all I could think of was how terribly tired I was. The verse that I hadn’t read until it was time for devotion (Galatians 6:9) was evidently about being tired and pushing through. To “reap the harvest” , the harvest being the completed playground . This I believe was God telling us to push through because the end result will be awesome. Ben Baker
